Refund Policy

Refund rules for RushGig posting fees and the maximum amount RushGig can owe.

Last updated: August 23, 2026

Plain-English protective boilerplate for a neutral marketplace. Have a licensed attorney review before large-scale operation.

Refunds are limited to the posting fee

RushGig's only potential refund obligation is the posting fee actually paid to RushGig for the relevant listing. The posting fee is $25, so the maximum refund for that listing is $25. If no fee was paid, no refund is owed.

No reimbursement for move costs

RushGig never hires replacement movers, pays movers, covers another user's promises, reimburses labor costs, replaces or repairs property, pays for hotels, trucks, storage, missed leases, travel, lost time, consequential losses, or any other expense beyond refunding the RushGig posting fee actually collected when RushGig chooses or is required to issue a refund.

No guarantee of match or completion

Because the fee buys a listing and connection opportunity only, a lack of responses, a failed match, a cancellation, a no-show, poor work, or a user dispute does not automatically create any refund right beyond the $25 maximum cap described here and in the Liability Release.

Possible refund triggers are limited to duplicate posting-fee charges, a RushGig-side failure to create or publish the paid listing, a chargeback or legal requirement, or a discretionary courtesy refund approved by RushGig. Every refund trigger is capped at the $25 posting fee actually collected for that listing.
